Change at home is soooo slow. Out here, travelling alone, dramatic changes happen every few days. You meet a few cool people, hangout for a night or two, then they're off somewhere else or going home. All you can really say is goodbye and goodluck. You settle down into a nice hostel and within days everyone you met is gone. Its just you left. Alone. I guess you just have to keep moving on as well. Its got its upsides and downsides like everythign else. At least in boring places, i'm out of there right away. But in good places it seems like you never have enough time.
The biggest thing i'm starting to learn is to live in the moment. For they change so quickly/dramatically that if you don't grasp every second of it, you'll miss it and it will be gone forever. Enjoy now, and don't think that something can be done tomorrow/later. Don't procrastinate because you just end up missing out on great opportunities.
Its interesting. Coming out here knowing what you're going to learn. And then actually learning. it always seems to be a big shocker. But that is life.
C'est la vie
